Evelyn R. Stypula Inducted into Cambridge Who's Who
Evelyn R. Stypula specializes in disability advocacy
VERONA, PA, November 16, 2010 /Transportation and Trucking PR News/ -- Evelyn R. Stypula, Vice Chairwoman of the Governor's Cabinet and Advisory Committee for People with Disabilities, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in business management.
With 52 years of professional experience, Ms. Stypula attributes her success to her devotion to making a better life for People with Disabilities. As Vice Chairwoman, she is in charge of advocating for People with Disabilities on issues such as Transportation, Employment and Housing. Prior to her current position, she gained experience in Advocacy while volunteering with the United Cerebral Palsy Association of the Pittsburgh District.
Ms. Stypula wrote Legislation that established the Governor's Advisory Committee for People with Disabilities because there was no representation on the State level. She also was the founder and Creator of the " Access Para-Transit Transportation" System for People with Disabilities in Allegheny County. She is currently a consultant for the Governor's Working Women on behalf of Working Women with Disabilities for the 2010 Conference to be held in Pittsburgh on October 14th , 2010.
Ms Stypula earned a Master of Education in Rehabilitation Counseling at the University of Pittsburgh. She currently serves on the Board of Directors for Three Rivers Center for Independent Living as well as for the United Cerebral Palsy Association for the Pittsburgh District.
