Radical Makeover for Safestyle UK Lorries

Leading UK double glazing company launches colourful new designs on its fleet of articulated lorries.

OSWALDTWISTLE, ENGLAND, November 11, 2010 /Transportation and Trucking PR News/ -- DOUBLE glazing and uPVC windows firm Safestyle UK has given its fleet of giant lorries a radical new look.
The company has redesigned the trailers of its Mercedes Axor vehicles with a series of colourful images.
And Window Man Jeff Brown, famous for his BOGOF (You Buy One, You Get One Free) catchphrase figures prominently on the new-look lorries.
The new imagery includes a series of pictures of Jeff on the rear of the vehicles. Other designs promote the award-winning company's energy-saving windows and doors, and ultra-secure composite doors.
The new images will be seen on Safestyle UK lorries on motorways up and down the country as they deliver frames to the firm's depots.
Andy Kyle, Safestyle UK Transport Supervisor, said: "Following the upgrade of our HGV fleet to the new Mercedes Axor, with the latest Euro 5 engines running with AdBlue Fuel additive, we felt it only right to also update the trailers with new eye-catching imagery.
"The additional fuel economy will certainly help in delivering our energy-saving windows and doors.
"Economy is certainly the focus at the moment because more efficient delivery not only means savings for us by keeping our costs down and being 'greener' but those savings are passed on to all our customers nationwide."
Keith Jones, Safestyle UK Manufacturing Supervisor, commented: "We currently deliver thousands of frames a week to each of our ten depots, ranging from Exeter to Darlington.
"We are currently producing around 4,300 per week over a two-shift system. We believe the new fleet across the organisation will raise our brand awareness even further."
Gurkamal Matharu, Safestyle Manufacturing's Assistant Supply Chain Manager, also added: "It's great to see our new range of articulated lorries, but we've assembled the fleet to not only look great but more importantly, to improve fuel economy, thereby reducing our carbon footprint as well as costs."
Safestyle UK, which set up in business in 1992, has enjoyed fantastic growth in recent years and installed more than GBP100million of energy-saving windows, composite doors and patio doors across the UK last year. Safestyle has 40 branches across the UK.
