CAPS Launches Iowa Service Center to Manage Growth of Reusable Shipping Container Business

Container and Pooling Solutions (CAPS) launches its newest Service Center in Jesup, Iowa.

LIVONIA, MI, April 01, 2011 /Transportation and Trucking PR News/ -- Container and Pooling Solutions (CAPS) (www.usecaps.com), proudly announces the opening of its Jesup, IA Service Center. The launch of its newest facility will allow CAPS to support the recent influx of customers shipping and receiving liquid product in the Midwest.

For more than a decade, CAPS has provided returnable shipping container rental, cleaning, repair and tracking services for the food, beverage, cosmetic, non-hazardous chemical, automotive and general manufacturing markets throughout the US, Canada and Mexico. In addition to its headquarters and flagship service center in Livonia, MI, CAPS has several other service centers located throughout the United States.

"The launch of our Jesup, IA Service Center allows us to better support our existing customers by optimizing transportation synergies, while accommodating the requirements of a few of our new major customers," explained Robert Wiedmaier, CAPS' CEO. "The steady growth we've experienced in the Midwest over the past several months made this location optimal for efficiently serving our filler and end-user customers, while being able to quickly flex and scale to their supply chain requirements."

CAPS' Jesup Service Center was developed primarily to service the needs of its liquid shipping container rental customers. In doing so, the facility offers full service cleaning, repair, and storage services for its customers, ensuring compliance with all food and beverage industry guidelines.

"In order to exceed the stringent expectations our customers have learned to expect of us, our new facility is fully equipped with industry grade cleaning, sanitizing and repair equipment, and led by a Service Center Manager with more than 17 years of experience in the Warehousing and Transportation industry," explained Drew Merrill, CAPS' VP Business Development & Strategic Planning.

Since 1998, CAPS has been a trusted name in container shipping and container management solutions, providing all-inclusive returnable container rental and a la carte tracking, cleaning and repair services to non-rental clients. To learn more about CAPS, visit www.UseCAPS.com.
