ZING Your Thing - New Parcel Delivery Service From Australia Post

Australia Post has just released a national campaign called ZING to promote parcel delivery services to small and medium online businesses in Australia.

July 28, 2011 /Transportation and Trucking PR News/ -- Australia Post is encouraging businesses to "Zing their thing" in a new national campaign that uses "ZING", a red furry ball, as a metaphor representing the different products and services businesses offer.

Zing Your Thing will launch with television, online film, press, outdoor, digital and DM.

The 30 second 'Zing HQ' TVC discusses the ability of small businesses to quickly send their products to customers anywhere in the world via Australia Post's express post option. The 'Zingbo' spot shows a martial arts expert discussing the value of his "Zing" and the need for "disciplined delivery". Meanwhile the 40 second 'Balanzing' spot features a yoga instructor explaining the need to have her zing sent out to students in time for the next class and the 45 second 'Kevin 47' spot reworks images from the first TVC showing how Australia Post can help internet businesses.

John Moore, general manager of marketing and customer experience at Australia Post, said: "This campaign defines a new direction for Australia Post parcel services. It highlights the customer focus within the organisation. When Marmalade first pitched, zing was one of those standout ideas. Even down to the fact that zing, for those who haven't noticed, is in PMS 186, the Australia Post red."
