J. Larry Breeden Recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for Excellence in Transportation
Mr. Breeden celebrates 33 years of keeping railroads on track
OVERLAND, KS, November 10, 2011 /Transportation and Trucking PR News/ -- J. Larry Breeden, Senior Vice President at Transportation Certification Services, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in transportation.
Serving as the senior vice president of Transportation Certification Services, Mr. Breeden has worked in the transportation field for 33 years. He follows all Federal Railroad Administration policies and procedures to prevent derailments, maintains records, and ensures that all operations are running efficiently, including tests, air brakes, simulators and remote controls. He developed a high level of expertise in railroad transportation while working for Union Pacific Railroad for 32 years. For the past 10 years of his tenure, he managed operating practices for the entire system, including 18,000 TE&Y employees and 450 other individuals, including designated supervisors of locomotive engines (DSLE) and designated supervisors of remote control operators (DSRCO).
Mr. Breeden received a Bachelor of Science in business from Trinity University as well as a Bachelor of Science in law enforcement from Arkansas Tech University. He has served as the president of the International Association of Railroad Operation Officers. Currently, he holds memberships to NATMI, Rail Group and Smart Railroad. Mr. Breeden showcase his strength not only in the transportation field, but also in the area of personal fitness; he has won three world championships for powerlifting.
