LTC Karen L. Griffith Recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for Excellence in Logistics Management
Karen L. Griffith was selected below zone for promotion to Lieutenant Colonel
LORTON, VA, January 6, 2012 /Transportation and Trucking PR News/ -- Karen L. Griffith, Primary Assistance Instructor at the Department of the Army Inspector General School, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in logistics management.
Upon graduating from high school, LTC Griffith enlisted in the military believing it would provide her the best opportunity to find direction in her life. After serving three years on active duty, she enrolled at the University of California, Davis, graduating with honors in 1992 with a Bachelor's Degree in Physical Education. Shortly after graduation, she applied, and was accepted to Officer Candidate School, graduating as a distinguished military graduate as a Transportation Officer. In 2011, after serving in a variety of leadership and staff positions, she was selected below zone for promotion to Lieutenant Colonel.
LTC Griffith has 27 years of experience in the armed forces and attributes her success to her ego and drive to do well. In 2001 she completed her Master's Degree in Logistics Management from Florida Institute of Technology and is a lifetime member of the Golden Key Honor Society and the Reserve Officers Association. LTC Griffith expects to continue her government affiliation even after her military retirement, either in the Logistics or IG fields.
